Australia’s biggest transport fleets help to promote ITTES

Posted on Wednesday 25th, January 2012.

Some of Australia’s most respected transport fleets have again collaborated with organisers of the International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show (ITTES) by using their transport fleets for promotional purposes. B-double trailer combinations have been serving as mobile billboards in the lead up to this year’s show.

GTS Freight Management and the Toll Group were the first to have vehicles fitted out with specially designed truck show curtains to advertise the event, providing exposure as freight moves across Australia as part of their day-to-day business operations.

Ensuring the message spreads to all corners of Australia, all units participating in the marketing initiative have been strategically selected depending on what routes they are currently running on. Running up and down the eastern seaboard, across to the West and from South Australia to Victoria, this unique marketing strategy ensures maximum exposure for the show, helping to attract high visitor numbers.

“The support that we have received from the participating fleets once again has been fantastic,” says Show Director, Clint Hendry.
“The fleet guys believe that the Melbourne event is a real showcase of our industry and what it has to offer. They want to do what they can to not only see it thrive and continue to grow but to also show their support to their highly valued suppliers who will be exhibiting at the event. They also believe that this event reflects perfectly the highly professional environment that is the transport industry.”

Subject to availability all vehicles participating in the curtain campaign will be on show at the 2012 International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show.
